Malorie Meadow – Cheesemaker extraordinaire

Thousands of miles from France, in the small town of Sonoma, Malorie tends to her cheese. She is the grand-niece of the famous Gerard Meadow, who settled in Sonoma back in the 1930's. Gerard honed his cheesemaking technique whilst
living in the old stone building that Mr. Viviani (The Sonoma Cheese Factory)
used to produce his cheese.
Malorie has taken her cheese to the heights of a form of art.
At least that is what she believes and who, indeed, would argue?

  1. Not me! I would never argue with such a skilled cheesemaker hehe. Lovely illustration Shirley! Love all the details!! :)

  2. Ahhhhh, Cheese making is an art form, what a lucky mouse she is to know how to make her own cheese!

  3. Hello Shirley - I've just discovered this little blog! I love this particular illustration - the way you've framed Malorie with the cheese border is so delightful!

  4. I would love to taste some of this cheese.
Wonderful illustration, with great colors and so many details.

  5. This is really magical... what a perfect little world you've created here. I love your characters and can't wait to see how far they go.

  6. I agree with my twin Eric, this is so magical and perfect!! We talk about your delicious character and work all the time. You know how to create a story Shirley. It just flows right out of your head and hand onto paper. You just bring it all to life. It's beautiful.

  7. Aaaaaawwwwww! I have been missing this blog all along! She is sooooooo cute!!! where are the plush toys?

  8. Qué dulce y maravilloso tú mundo, maravilloso.
